I guess the talk of the 2011 show will be the weather ! Unfortunately we had a right old downpour late Saturday afternoon, along with plenty of thunder, then again later that evening we had yet another downpour. This put us in the unfortunate position of having to turn away Sundays day exhibits, with the aim of limiting further damage to the fields to allow those already on site to be able to leave without getting stuck. Despite this many exhibitors had to be helped off the field with the aid of a very nicely restored Fordson tractor. After successfully seeing the last exhibitor off site at around midnight Sunday, we thought all our problems were over. That was until a Monkey appeared, sat on top of our loaf of bread. But hey thats another story ! Along with Monday morning, the skip lorry appeared, which then promptly got stuck in the mud too !
